Why the name iris and oak events?

Not only is the Iris flower my mom’s favorite, but it is also the flower of my sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma. The petals resemble a classic fleur-de-lis and fittingly enough, you can find these beautiful flowers all around New Orleans. Growing up in the south, Louisiana oak trees were always around to provide shade and support. I spent many days studying and building friendships beneath the oaks. The roots of an oak spread wide and act as a support system for the massive tree. This is what I strive to provide for my clients, a well-rooted support system that can be the strong foundation that you need when planning a wedding.

How can I help?

From brainstorming to bringing your vision to life, it is my job to help you host the most important day of your life. I believe in getting to know all aspects of my client’s wedding, most importantly getting to know the couple and their families. From contracts and vendor communication to design elements and day-of-emergencies, we are here to be the stable figures is there another word for figures throughout the entire process.
